Mission

1. To share our passion and promote the scientific understanding of hair and nails

2. To educate residents and fellows-in-training of the PDS institutions on hair and nail disorders

3. To promote public awareness of hair and nail disorders managed effectively by dermatologists

4. To assist patients in finding local hair and nail specialists

4. To share and learn from colleagues about hair and nail cases

5. To foster collaboration in research on hair and nail disorders

Vision

The Philippine Dermatological Society Hair and Nail Special Interest Group is an organization of competently-trained, board-certified dermatologists in the diagnosis and management of hair and nail disorders and are committed in raising awareness of hair and nail disorders and alleviating those suffering from these conditions.
