In celebration of the Leprosy Awareness Week , the PDS Leprosy Interest Group is pleased to invite you to our Annual PDS Bigay- Puso 2025, “United Against Leprosy: Strengthening Partnerships for a Healthier Future”, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), the Department of Health (DOH), and the Culion Foundation Inc.
This event will serve as a platform to enhance our ongoing collaboration in the fight against leprosy, promote awareness of the latest Clinical Practice Guidelines, and renew our shared commitment to eradicating this disease in the Philippines. We aim to combat and eliminate the stigma surrounding leprosy while promoting the dignity of those affected by the disease. It serves as a strong reminder of the importance of addressing the social and psychological impacts of leprosy, in addition to the medical efforts to eradicate it. Together, we work to strengthen policies, empower healthcare providers, and reduce stigma surrounding leprosy.
