Member Qualifications

An applicant seeking admission into the Pediatric Dermatology Society of the Philippines (PDSP) must be/have:

  • A citizen of the Republic of the Philippines

  • A graduate of a medical school duly recognized by the Commission on Higher Education

  • Duly licensed to practice medicine in the Philippines, or in the country of origin

  • Completed a 3-year residency training program in a Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS)-accredited institution or an equivalent dermatology program approved by the PDS Board of Accreditation and PDS Board of Directors

  • Completed a 1-year pediatric dermatology clinical fellowship training program in a PDSP-accredited institution or an equivalent pediatric dermatology program approved by the PDSP Board of Directors

  • Of good moral character, standing and reputation in the society

Application Requirements

An applicant must submit the following as part of the application process:

  • Letter of intent addressed to the current PDSP president
  • Certificate of Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship Training
  • Certificate of Dermatology Residency Training
  • Copy of medical license issued by the Philippine Professional Regulatory Commission [front and back]
  • Certificate of Good Standing from the PDS
