CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS Re:National Skin Disease Detection and Prevention Week (SKINWEEK)
Dear Colleague, Greetings! On November 8-14, 2009, the Philippine Dermatological Society will be celebrating its 10th year of holding the National Skin Disease Detection and Prevention Week (SKINWEEK). This yearly activity aims to promote skin health for all Filipinos by focusing on early detection and prevention of skin diseases. As has been done last year, our Society will conduct the SKINWEEK FREE CLINIC. PDS and industry sponsors will be holding free dermatology clinics in barangay health centers and parishes in key cities throughout the Philippines, giving free consultation and medicines.... [...]

Pre Convention Speakers and Topics
Course Description The workshop faculty will explain and show different techniques and demonstrate various lasers presently being employed in Cosmetic Dermatology. Updates on anti-aging, lasers and reconstructive surgery will be highlighted in the morning lectures. Video coverage of the procedures done on actual patients will be shown to the participants in the afternoon session. Some literature will be provided in the course kit.
